What do I need for a tire change?
For a successful tire change, we have assembled this starter kit. It contains everything you need for a tire change: mounting paste, mounting lever, mounting brush, valve key, adhesive weights, an adhesive weight remover, and a rim protector. With this set, you can change your tire yourself.
How do I use the tire mounting starter kit?
Once the air is out of the tire and it has been depressurized, you apply the mounting paste included in the kit to the mounting head, tire bead, and rim edge using the mounting brush. Next, you pull the tire bead over the mounting head with the mounting lever and remove the tire from the rim. Then, you apply mounting paste to the new tire and mount it onto the rim.
Before balancing, you remove the old adhesive weights with the adhesive weight remover and add new adhesive weights as needed.
