What to consider before purchasing EVO2?

Before purchasing, the axle diameter should be measured. A 20 mm axle is included in the delivery. For axles thinner than 20 mm, the following axle adapters are required:

Ø 15 mm axle adapter: for axles with a diameter less than or equal to 20 mm and greater than 15 mm
Ø 12 mm axle adapter: for axles with a diameter less than or equal to 15 mm and greater than 12 mm

Does your motorcycle have a single-sided swingarm?

Some motorcycles have a single-sided swingarm. Separate axle adapters are required for this:

Frage: Wie oft muss man den Motorradreifen wechseln? Wann ist der Motorradreifen zu alt? Wie viel Profil muss ein Motorradreifen haben?

Antwort: Diese Frage ist recht komplex, aber hier einmal eine schnelle Übersicht, wann es dringend nötig ist einen Reifen zu wechseln:

Wenn dein Reifen kaputt ist (Panne, Nagel drin, …).
Wenn die gesetzliche Profiltiefe von 1,6 mm erreicht ist.
Wenn der Reifen zu alt ist. Man kann nur nicht pauschal sagen wann ein Reifen zu alt ist, da dies sehr stark von verschiedenen Faktoren abhängig ist: Wie oft wird der Reifen genutzt? Welchen Wetterbedingungen ist er ausgesetzt? Wie wird er gelagert? Welchen Geschwindigkeiten ist der Reifen ausgesetzt? Unser Tipp: Prüfe deinen Reifen regelmäßig auf Verschleiß- und Alterserscheinungen. Das sind etwa Verformungen und Risse.
Wann immer dein Reifen „komisch“ aussieht und ungewöhnliche Verschleißerscheinungen aufzeigt. Einseitiger Verschleiß, Risse, usw. Hier gilt: Lieber auf Nummer sicher gehen. Es bietet sich dann auch an zu prüfen, woher das Fehlverhalten kommt. Oft sind Gründe falsches Wuchten, mechanische Probleme am Getriebe, Stoßdämpfer oder ähnliches.

Frage: Was kostet es, einen Motorradreifen zu montieren und zu wuchten?

Antwort: Das ist pauschal natürlich schwer zu sagen. Viele Werkstätten unterscheiden noch einmal, ob man den Reifen selbst mitbringt oder dort kauft. Grob über den Daumen muss man mit 30-50 € pro Reifen rechnen. Wer jetzt nachrechnet stellt fest – da lohnt sich schnell ein Reifenmontiergerät.

Frage: Wie bekomme ich den Reifen aus der Felge?

Antwort: Mit unserem Reifenmontiergerät EVO2 ist das kein Problem.

Reifen entsprechend auf die Welle aufziehen und in das Reifenmontiergerät legen
Luft ablassen
Reifen mit dem Abdrückarm von der Felge drücken (hier ist etwas Kraft nötig). Wer Angst hat die Felge zu zerkratzen kann unseren praktischen Felgenschutz benutzen
Das Abdrücken macht ihr an vier Positionen, damit der Reifen überall unten ist
Alles gut mit Montagepaste einschmieren
Einmal rundum mit dem Montagekopf und dem Montierhebel den Reifen von der Felge lupfen

Frage: Wie lange dauert es, den Reifen auf die Felge zu ziehen?

Antwort: Das ist alles eine Frage der Übung. Wenn du geübt bist, ist das eine Sache von ein paar Minuten.

Changing scooter tires made easy!10-inch scooter tires could not be changed with the max2h devices so far. The core problem is the shape of the mounting head. More specifically, the roundness is too large for small rims. For this reason and increased demand, we locked ourselves in the workshop and developed a solution. Today, we present to you our scooter tire change kit.Compatibility with the EVO2 was important to us. The kit consists of four core parts: a 14 mm shaft, an aluminum cone, a ball head, and an adjusting ring. The change process remains essentially the same. The mounting head and stepped cone of the EVO2 are replaced with the new set.The 14 mm shaft is compatible with almost all scooter rims. Together with the adjusting ring, the aluminum cone ensures sufficient fixation of the rim to the device. With enough mounting paste on the tire and ball head, the tire bead is pulled over the rim. MAX2H Screw-on Stand Foot Set

Stable support during tire changes!The stand foot bending parts are attached to two of the four feet of the EVO2. For this purpose, the standard rubberized foot is unscrewed and re-screwed with the stainless steel bending part clamped in between. Once the stand feet are mounted, the large tread surfaces can be used to secure the tire mounting machine with the foot.
