What to consider before purchasing:
Before purchasing, the axle diameter should be measured. A 20 mm axle is included in the delivery. For axles thinner than 20 mm, the following axle adapters are required:
- Ø 15 mm axle adapter: For axles with a diameter less than or equal to 20 mm and greater than 15 mm
- Ø 12 mm axle adapter: For axles with a diameter less than or equal to 15 mm and greater than 12 mm

- Wenn dein Reifen kaputt ist (Panne, Nagel drin, …).
- Wenn die gesetzliche Profiltiefe von 1,6 mm erreicht ist.
- Wenn der Reifen zu alt ist. Man kann nur nicht pauschal sagen wann ein Reifen zu alt ist, da dies sehr stark von verschiedenen Faktoren abhängig ist: Wie oft wird der Reifen genutzt? Welchen Wetterbedingungen ist er ausgesetzt? Wie wird er gelagert? Welchen Geschwindigkeiten ist der Reifen ausgesetzt? Unser Tipp: Prüfe deinen Reifen regelmäßig auf Verschleiß- und Alterserscheinungen. Das sind etwa Verformungen und Risse.
- Wann immer dein Reifen „komisch“ aussieht und ungewöhnliche Verschleißerscheinungen aufzeigt. Einseitiger Verschleiß, Risse, usw. Hier gilt: Lieber auf Nummer sicher gehen. Es bietet sich dann auch an zu prüfen, woher das Fehlverhalten kommt. Oft sind Gründe falsches Wuchten, mechanische Probleme am Getriebe, Stoßdämpfer oder ähnliches.
- Reifen entsprechend auf die Welle aufziehen und in das Reifenmontiergerät legen
- Luft ablassen
- Reifen mit dem Abdrückarm von der Felge drücken (hier ist etwas Kraft nötig). Wer Angst hat die Felge zu zerkratzen kann unseren praktischen Felgenschutz benutzen
- Das Abdrücken macht ihr an vier Positionen, damit der Reifen überall unten ist
- Alles gut mit Montagepaste einschmieren
- Einmal rundum mit dem Montagekopf und dem Montierhebel den Reifen von der Felge lupfen
